The social media activist appealed to influential figures like Davido and Cubana Chief Priest for support and promised transparency and accountability.

In another Instagram post on Sunday, VeryDarkMan disclosed that he has received over N33 million in donations within 24 hours, and the amount keeps growing by the hour.

He also shared a screenshot of the total donations and thanked donors for their contributions. The activist said most individuals gave N500 or less, demonstrating their willingness to support despite financial constraints.

However, in a follow-up post on Sunday evening, Otse claimed that he had ‘received a call from the Presidency’ about his NGO and that he was applauded for his contribution to society.

In a sarcastic tone, the social media celebrity pointed out that since he had raised so much money and he expected the government to come to him for financial help.

He said, “Something crazy just happened now. I just received a call from the Presidency about my NGO. Bruh, that’s crazy mehn! They said VeryDarkMan, we like what you are doing. We see that people are sending you money because of the public schools and how I want to help children get a strong foundation. I imagine that the presidency would wanna borrow money from me since they have been borrowing money everywhere. It has been reported that in just 16 months, Tinubu’s administration has taken on loans amounting to $6.45 billion from the World Bank.”

He also announced his plans to enhance transparency in Nigerian NGOs as part of his new project, stating, “I go cast NGO for this country, make una dey watch.”
