The member representing Aba North and South Federal constituency of Abia State, Hon. Alex Ikwechegh, has pleaded not guilty to the charges of abu-se of office, a$$ault, and thr€@t to life filed against him by a bolt driver, Stephen Abuwatseya.
He was arraigned before an Abuja Chief Magistrate Court sitting at Kuje on Wednesday, October 30, by the Inspector General of Police’s Special Investigation Unit.
Following his plea of “not guilty”, the presiding judge, His Worship, Abubakar Umar Sai’id, granted Ikwechegh bail in the sum of N500,000.
The case has been adjourned to November 8, for trial.
