OHANAEZE PRESIDENCY: HON CEEKAY IGARA CONGRATULATES MBATA, PRINCE NKATA ON THEIR VICTORIES.

The National Vice Chairman, Southeast, Labour Party, Hon. Ceekay Igara has congratulated Senator John Azuta Mbata and Prince Charles Nkata on their election victories as the president general and the financial Secretary of the Ohanaeze ndigbo worldwide at a congress that was held in Enugu.
Igara in his congratulatory messages which was made available to Trustbase News on Saturday 11th January says the election is not just significant but very peculiar because it is the first where an Igbo Man from Rivers State of the South south zone and men with capacity are elected as the President General and other sensitive positions of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo which epitomises oneness and unity which we yearns for.
The former Abia State labour party chairman said he is optimistic that with Mbata’s vast experience in both the private and public sector including the legislature, the pan Igbo cultural group would benefit from his vast experiences which will be a unifying factor in the days ahead.
Similarly, Igara equally congratulated all other officers elected with Senator Mbata particularly Chief Charles Nkata from Ohafia in Abia State who was elected as the national financial secretary of the Pan Igbo Group and encouraged them to leave no room for mediocrity, frivolity and lack of focus in order to ensure a unified form for maximum achievements.
According to him, Chief Nkata’s victory justifies his exemplary leadership skills, financial expertise, and dedication to the Igbo course.
He however wished them the best in their offices as they serve Ndigbo and Nigeria at large.
” I am more than delighted to see that in my time, a Rivers man and men with capacity are at the helm of affairs of the pan Igbo cultural group, the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, a rare show of revival and inclusivity in the Igbo agenda. I am very confident that they would bring their wealth of experiences from their different backgrounds to ensure a unified front for progress in the organization even as we look forward to better days ahead”, he said.
