2025 U-20 W/Cup: Flying Eagles will give their best against Colombia – Daga
Flying Eagles midfielder Daniel Daga says the team is firmly focused on their next game against Colombia at the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Aliyu Zubairu’s side defeated Saudi Arabia 3-2 in their second match of the competition on Friday morning.
Captain Daniel Bameyi scored a stoppage-time penalty to give Nigeria maximum points in the encounter.
The Flying Eagles currently sit third in Group C with three points from two matches.
The seven-time African Champions will need to beat Colombia in their final group fixture to secure a place in the knockout round.
Daga declared that they would give their all to overcome the South Americans.
“The next [game] is to play Colombia in the last group game, we [are] hoping to get a victory again so we can go to the next stage,” the Molde of Norway star was quoted by FIFA.com.
