Hon Ibe Okwara remains Elected to Represent Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency — Court of Appeal.

The Court of Appeal Lagos, has  declared Hon Ibe Okwara as duly elected to represent the People of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the  Federal House of Representative.

The National Assembly Elections Tribunal in Abia State Sacked  Hon Ibe Okwara of the Labour Party on issues of Nominations and Declaration of results.

But in the Judgement of the Court of Appeal, the issue of nominations and declaration of results was resolved in favour of Hon Ibe Okwara.

The  Court, held that Disputes on scores is  more cogent than issues of dates and there is no dispute on scores, the scores on all forms are the same and enjoy a presumption of regularities.

Therefore, the Appeal panel disagrees with the Election Tribunal  that nullified the Elections victory of Hon Ibe Okwara.

Hon Ibe Okwara remains Elected to Represent the good people of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency.
