Enugu community invokes deity over stealing in general hospital | Watch Video

Ogurute Ulo community in Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State has invoked a deity over stealing in a newly built general hospital.

The community decided to invoke the deity after equipment, including an ambulance, TV sets, solar panel, stretchers, wheel chairs, among others were reported missing from the hospital.

In a video posted on Facebook, a man who spoke on behalf of the community, said in Igbo language and translated thus;

“The people here today are people of Ogurute Ulo community.

“This is Ogurute Ulo General Hospital built for us by the government.

“The government brought for us equipment for taking care of the sick. They brought solar battery, an ambulance, TV sets and all other good things you can think of.

“However, those equipment can no longer be found within a short a time. We are not happy about it.

“So we have agreed to hand over this General Hospital to the deities here. Any man or woman who said he or she is not happy about this hospital and has a hand in the missing items, let the deities take care of them.”
