Atiku, Kwankwaso, Obi Should Rethink Their Election Contest Against Tinubu In 2027 – Deji Adeyanju.
Deji Adeyanju, Human rights lawyer and activist, has cautioned former presidential candidates Atiku Abubakar, Rabiu Kwankwaso, and Peter Obi against contesting for the 2027 presidency.
He advised the trio to rethink their efforts, claiming they could not defeat President Bola Tinubu even if they united.
Adeyanju, in a post on X on Wednesday, said: “It is better for Atiku, Obi & Kwankwaso to use their money to play two odds on BetNaija than to contest against Tinubu & INEC.”
He expressed doubts about their chances in Nigeria’s electoral system, stating: “Even if they all unite now, it’s all for nothing. It’s a waste of time to contest elections in a nation where results on IREV are changed. Edo on my mind.”
He further added, “I will waste my vote is no longer finding it funny. And Tinubu is just starting. The best time the opposition had to defeat APC was the last election if they united.
“Even if they all come together now, Tinubu & INEC will not lose an election Tinubu will conduct.”
