Mr. Ceekay Igara, the National Vice Chairman of Labour Party, South East, has called on Nigerian leaders, parents and citizens at large to prioritise the growth, safety and development of children as they are the heartbeat of the future.
Igara while felicitating children on the occasion of Children’s Day on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, assured that the Labour Party is committed to “advocating for better education, healthcare, and a safer environment where every child can dream big and thrive.”
The Labour Party chieftain said;
“Today, as we celebrate Children’s Day, I extend my warmest wishes to every child across the Southeast and Nigeria as a whole. Our children are the heartbeat of our future, and their joy, safety, and development must remain a top priority for every leader, parent, and citizen.
As the National Vice Chairman of the Labour Party (Southeast), I reaffirm our party’s commitment to advocating for better education, healthcare, and a safer environment where every child can dream big and thrive.
We must work together—governments, communities, and families—to ensure that no child is left behind. Let us build a society where children are protected, heard, and given the tools to succeed.
Happy Children’s Day to our shining stars. May your dreams grow brighter each day.”
