Dissolved APC Rivers State Executive Council Sue Party’s NWC over thier illegal Removal from Office.

The dissolved Rivers State  APC Executives have taken legal action against the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party, contesting their wrongful removal from office.

The lawsuit, which was filed at the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, seeks to prevent the inauguration of the Caretaker Committee in Rivers State appointed recently by the NWC of the Party.

In an ex parte application lodged by Peter Ohochukwu on behalf of the elected State Working Committee (SEC) members, the court is being asked to interpret constitutional provisions, including those in the Nigerian Constitution and the APC’s amended Constitution.

The defendants named in the suit include APC national Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje and the party’s national secretary, Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, alongside other members of the APC NWC.
