Edo State Governorship Elections 2024, INEC releases Notice of Election, in-line with the Law.

The Independent National Electoral Commission has given a notice for the Edo State Governorship Election 2024. This notice is expected to be released to the general public 360 days (approximately one year) before election in line with Section 28(1) of the Electoral Act 2023.

The Commission has also published the notice in their INEC State Headquarters Benin City, and in all Local Government in Edo State. It is confirmed that the Electoral Commission has also uploaded the notices to their website and social media platforms.

Our Correspondence report that people seen reading the notices said that they have lost confidence on the Electoral Umpire due the manipulations and rigging witnessed in the last Presidential Election and wish if INEC will use the Edo State Governorship Election to reclaim their trust.
