First Lady, Priscilla Otti Donates ₦6 Million, Food Items, Toiletries To Charity Homes In Abia | Read More 

Six orphanage and destitute homes have received six million naira , food items, and toiletries from the First Lady of Abia state, Her Excellency, Mrs Priscilla Otti.

This forms part of the ongoing effort of Mrs Otti in supporting the needy in Aba and Umuahia.

The beneficiaries include;

1. Ahiaeke Motherless Babies Home

Donation: ₦1,000,000

Caregivers: ₦150,000

 

2. Agape Charity Home, Avodim, Ipupe-Amuba Ubakala

Donation: ₦1,000,000

Caregivers: ₦150,000

 

3. So-Said Charity Homes for Vulnerable Persons, Amibo Ubakala

Donation: ₦1,000,000

Caregivers: ₦150,000

 

4. St. Vincent De Paul Center for Mentally and Physically Challenged Persons, Umuafai Ndume Ibeku.

Donation: ₦1,000,000

Caregivers: ₦150,000

 

5. Ngwa Road Motherless Babies Home

Donation: ₦1,000,000

Caregivers: ₦150,000

 

6. SDA Motherless Babies Home

Donation: ₦1,000,000

Caregivers: ₦100,000

 

Speaking during the outreach, the wife of the governor who was represented by the Wife of the Deputy Governor, Mrs. Adaeze Emetu , lauded the management of the various homesfor rendering self less service to the children under their custody, assuring that the present administration will not relent in ensuring that the welfare of the poor and needy are prioritised.

Responding, leaders of the respective homes appreciated Mrs Otto, praying that God will continue to give them the strength, and wisdom to govern thethe state.
