Four Commissioners Resigned from Gov Fubara’s Cabinet within 24hrs in the Rivers State deepened Political Crises.

As the the crisis in Rivers State deepened, it is now  reported that four commissioners have so far resigned from Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s cabinet.

The state Commissioner for Social Welfare and Rehabilitation, Inime Chinwenwo-Aguma, and the Commissioner for Works, George-Kelly Alabo, are the latest among those who resigned in 24 hours.

Chinwenwo-Aguma cited “personal and other personal commitments,” while Alabo said his resignation is based on his “conscience” as reported earlier by Newsmen.

This is coming after Trustbase news reports the resignation of the State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Prof. Zacchaeus Adangor, SAN, and the Commissioner for Special Duties, Emeka Woke,  from Fubara’s cabinet.

It has been in the news of the deepening  crisis rocking the state where 27 lawmakers loyal to a former governor of the state, Nyesome Wike, defected from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress.

Lawmakers loyal to the state Governor therefore declared their seats vacant while calling on the Independent National Electoral Commission to conduct fresh elections to replace them.

The state government also on Wednesday demolished  the House of Assembly complex, claiming it is no longer safe for legislative business. Although former Rivers State Governor and the FCT Minister Nyesom wike has not responded to say his side of the story on the cause of the political crisis rocking Rivers State, although some anonymous reports attributes the crises to identified financial leakages which was channeled to the former Governor.
