Residents households in different locations of the 27 LGA’S in Jigawa state have express concern on the dilapidation of the state’s educational sector.

This decays ranges from poor learning environment in most of the Primary, Post Primary down to tertiary Institutions such as the state University of Sule Lamido at Kafin-Hausa where the male hostel along Auyo- Hadejia road was left without wall fencing for donkey year’s

Others include No.steady lights nor portable water to students of that University especially with the female hostel, no observance of sanitary leaving the great varsity to.looked so Carnage among others.

The story was the same with other tertia4y Institutions of College of Arabic and Legal studies Ringim which is faced with student’s congestion, no steady water, security and perhaps with deficit of more qualitative lecturers etc. This same calamity was extended to Kazaure Informatics whereby the students for quite often complain of adequate learning facilities to some of their entrepreneur study centre, and Dutse Poly where it lacks competent and high skilled lecturers, among other decadence of social infrastructure facing the institution.

In the areas of basic education the Community lamented that apart from conversation of 1,986 teacher’s drawn from.variuus primary schools to post Primary about thirteen months now leaving them without cogent incentives only leaving them with burden if teaching over crowded classes, no salary increase nor allowances, with many dilapidated school’s structure all over the state despite huge lump acclaimed to be expended in revitalizing the sector.

Some household’s who spoke on condition.of annoimity asked a question to where is the over N4.5b announced by the state government meant for developmental projects in areas of Education, Health, and Agriculture.
