MAY DAY: Igara lauds workers for their contributions to the nation’s growth | READ MORE
As Nigeria celebrates Workers’ Day, Ceekay Igara, National Vice Chairman of the Labour Party Southeast, has extended his warm greetings to the nation’s hardworking men and women.
Igara in a statement acknowledged the invaluable contributions of workers to the country’s growth and development, often under challenging circumstances.
He saluted the resilience and dedication of Nigerian workers, who continue to drive the nation’s economy despite numerous obstacles.
He noted that their tireless efforts deserve recognition and appreciation, not just on May Day, but every day.
The Labour Party Southeast leader also emphasized the need for fairness, justice, and prosperity for all workers and called on the government to prioritize workers’ welfare, ensure better working conditions, and provide adequate compensation for their hard work.
