New terror group kills three in Kwara
Reports emerging from the North Central State of Kwara say that a new Terrorist Group, Mahmuda, has resumed attacks in a community, killing three Villagers.
According to Sahara Reporters that broke the news, different sources revealed that the group carried out a fresh attack on Duruma village in Baruten Local Government Area, Kwara State, on Tuesday morning.
“Mahmuda militants killed our people in Duruma village of Baruten Local Government Area in Kwara state today (Tuesday). A week before now, they set fire to a farm settlement,” one of the sources said.

The affected areas include Kemaanji, Tenebo, Baabete, Nuku, and Nanu in Kaiama Local Government Area, as well as villages in Yashikira District, Baruten Local Government Area—both in Kwara State.
Multiple sources also revealed that the group has seized control of communities in Babana and Wawa Districts in Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State.

According to reports, attempts to contact the state police command for comments were unsuccessful, as spokesperson SP Toun Ejire-Adeyemi did not respond to calls on her mobile phone.
