NPFL: Kwara United coach Suleiman commends players after win over Remo Stars

Kwara United technical adviser, Ashifat Suleiman, has commended his players for their determination and discipline in the victory over Remo Stars.

The Harmony Boys defeated the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, defending champions, Remo Stars 3-1 at the Rashidi Yekini Stadium in Ilorin on Saturday.

Junior Aimufua scored a brace, while Babatunde Bright also netted for Kwara United.

Jabbar Malik grabbed Remo Stars’ consolation goal in stoppage time.

Suleiman admitted that the Sky Blue Stars made things difficult for his side.

“We had a tough game because we didn’t start well but we regained ourselves, a well done job from the players because they showed determination and discipline in the game,” Suleiman stated after the game.
