Obidient Movement not for sale, build your own political wave ; Advice to Governor Uzodinma

Senator Hope Uzodinma the Governor of Imo State, in July 2022, ahead of the 2023 general elections, had mocked the LP supporters otherwise known as Obidients by describing them as a party that was only strong on social media.
“This opposition that is only strong on social media with no political structure on the ground, you are listening to them?” the governor said during a meeting with APC members in the state.
The Labour party, however, pulled some surprise victories across the country, including winning the governorship election in Abia State.
However, he recently extolled the obidient Movement in Imo State because of his re-election bid. In his response after some group, who claimed to be the Obidient Movement visited him in Owerri. Governor Uzodima was full of excitement and called the Obidient Movement Patriots.
Mr Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, had an amazing and unbelievable supports during and after the 2023 general elections, across the country.
The Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi is generally believed to be the winner of the 2023 Presidential Election in Nigeria, although rigged as we all know.
As Nigerians yearns for good leadership. Peter Obi is a Man who built his reputation and relevance based on his track records as the Governor of Anambra State. He exhibited Political integrity and good Governance.
Surprisingly, many Nigerian politicians whose records shows the opposite of Mr Peter Obi, thought that Obidient wave can be bought with money or material things.
It is a known fact, that the victories recorded by the LP across the state and some parts of Nigeria have been linked to Mr Obi’s “Political wave”.
Meanwhile, In a bid to woo Obidients ahead of the 11 November governorship election, Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State says Obidient Movement is a patriot crusade for good leadership in Nigeria.
Mr Uzodinma stated this on Sunday when some youths under the aegis of Imo Obidients Youths “endorsed” him in Owerri for a second term as the Governor of the state.
“Obidient Movement is a patriot movement. Obidient Movement is not about any political party. Obidient Movement is about good leadership. Obidient Movement is about the future and interest of Nigeria,” Mr Uzodinma told the youths.
Some APC members are even claiming that “Obidients Movement is often used to describe the activities of the group, which have been critical of President Bola Tinubu and his party”.
It is very clear that Obidient can’t endorse Gov Uzodima without the approval of the leadership of Labour Party, and if the youths are members of the LP, which is fielding Athan Achonu as its governorship candidate in the election then, Obidient wave will always be for the Labour Party.
More importantly, Nigerian Politicians should build their political wave which should be based on their integrity, good governance, accountability and not referencing on the already made Political Wave of Mr Peter Obi.
Governor Uzodima first term in office and years as a Senator should be good platforms to build his own Uzodient wave. Therefore you can not hijack Obidient movement in Imo State because your legacies speaks for you.
