On 30th June 2024, the world celebrated an International Social Media Day, a momentous occasion that highlighted the transformative power of digital platforms in connecting people globally, which was held in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. This day was not only a celebration but also a recognition of outstanding achievement within the local tech community.
The event witnessed the honouring of Mr. Thompson Nsisongabasi, as the “Young Tech Entrepreneur of The Year 2024” by the International Coalition of Online Publishers, Bloggers, and Social Media Influencers (COPBSMI) in Akwa Ibom State. The inaugural awards ceremony, had the theme; “Rebranding Akwa Ibom State in Contemporary Nigeria for Economic Growth and Sustainable Development.
