Two commissioners resigns in Abia state | Read Details 

Two commissioners appointed by governor Alex Otti of Abia state, have tendered their resignation letters.

They are:.

Mr. Chima Oriaku – Commissioner for Science and Technology and Prof. Monica Ironkwe – Commissioner for Agriculture.

Their resignation was disclosed in a press statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Governor of Abia, Ukoha Njoku Ukoha on Wednesday.

The reason for their resignation was however not disclosed.

The statement read;

Resignation of 2 Commissioners From The Cabinet of Abia State Government.

The following Cabinet Members of Abia State Government have tendered their resignation letters to the Executive Governor of Abia State, His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti. They are:

1. Mr. Chima Oriaku – Commissioner for Science and Technology.

2. Prof. Monica Ironkwe – Commissioner for Agriculture

The Executive Governor thanked them for their service and sacrifice to the State and wish them well in their future endeavours.
