Recall that PDP led by acting National Chairman, Mohammed Abdulrahman had expelled Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, ex-National Chairman Umar Damagum, Kabiru Turaki, Bode George, Taofeek Arapaja, and others from the party.

A statement by PDP’s National Secretary, Samuel Anyanwu, warned the public against interacting with those responsible for the national convention in Ibadan, Oyo State.

“Recent actions taken within the party reflect our union’s resolve to uphold the rule of law and defend the integrity of our constitution.

“Individuals whose conduct has threatened the unity, stability, and credibility of our party have been sanctioned in line with established resolutions.

“These measures were not taken lightly. They became necessary to protect the institution and our party from internal subversion and to restore confidence among us nationwide.”
