2027: No more factions in Oyo APC – Oyebamiji
The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo Central Senatorial District, Joshua Oyebamiji, has declared that there are no more factions within the party in the state.
Oyebamiji made this declaration while addressing journalists at a rally organised by the leaders of the party in Akinyele/ Lagelu federal constituency on Wednesday.
DAILY POST reports that the rally was attended by leaders of the party from both Akinyele and Lagelu local government areas among whom are Chief Kunle Sanda, Femi Egbedeyi, Tayo Oyetunji and a member of House of Representatives representing Akinyele/ Lagelu federal constituency, Olafisoye Akinmoyede.
Oyebamiji noted that all the leaders of the party in the state have resolved to work as a united entity for success in the 2027 election.
He said that all the chieftains of the party have pledged to work together and promote collective goals rather than individual agenda.
He added that the era of factions in the party has gone.
Oyebamiji said, “We are here for two purposes. We are here to tell the whole world and the good people of Oyo State that APC is one in Oyo State.
“We are now one united family. APC is one in Oyo State. That is why we call this rally a unity rally.
“Second, we are here to express our support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections. We have resolved to work together. APC Akinyele/ Lagelu federal constituency is in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. To give automatic support to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his second term.”
