As President Tinibu accuses Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of certificate forgery in response to his Appeal at the Supreme court. There are speculations that if proven guilty may disqualify the chances of Atiku taking over power from APC. Why it is uncertain what may be the effect of the forgery of the Chicago State University where the Institution denied knowledge of the Certificate President Tinibu Submitted to INEC. Assuming the two Presidential Candidates is found guilty of certificate forgery by the Supreme Court.  Popular opinions expressed satisfaction in Mr Peter Obi,  the Presidential Candidate of the Labour party to be declared as the President by the Supreme Court.

Meanwhile, on August 18, 1973, the date the PDP Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar claimed to have signed the affidavit in court in his claim that he is the same person as Sadiq Abubakar, was on a Saturday.

Having been aware that Nigerian  courts do not work  on Saturdays and Sundays, being work-free days in the country.

In the said affidavit, Atiku had sworn to an oath that he sat for the West African School Certificate Examination (WAEC) in 1965 as Sadiq Abubakar but that he later changed his name to Atiku Abubakar.

This inconsistency  may have confirmed the accusations that the said Sadiq Abubakar might be an entirely different person from Atiku Abubakar.

The former Vice President had, in a public statement on Sunday, October 10, 2023, insisted that he was the same person as Sadiq Abubakar who sat for WAEC in 1965.
A statement by Atiku’s Media Adviser, Mr. Paul Ibe, said: “It is on record that the change of name of the former Vice President reverting to Atiku Abubakar from Siddiq Abubakar is well documented in an affidavit dated August 18, 1973, spanning over a period of 50 years.” This several accusations by the two big political Parties may be the reason Mr Peter Obi remains most qualified candidates to be declared winner in the February 25 Presidential Election.
