The Abia State Governor, His Excellency, Dr Alex Chioma Otti ( OFR) will tomorrow, 21st of March 2024 officially flags off 2024 farming season for the Abia North Senatorial Zone of the State.
This release which was signed by the State Commissioner of Agriculture Prof. Monica Ironkwe was made public on Wednesday 20th March 2024.
The release also enjoined the Deputy Governor, the Speaker, the Chief Judge of the state, all Mayors of the concerned local Government, some political appointees in the state, including Secretary to the State Government, all Commissioners, Chief of Staff to the Governor and Permanent Secretaries to be present in the occasion.
Others invited are all Farmers in Abia North Senatorial zone , Agricultural Research institutes, Agricultural experts and the general public.
The event is slated to commence at 10 am and the venue is at the Bende local government headquarters.
The event will feature interactive session, produce exhibition, free distribution of farm inputs to farmers and lots more.
