Abure’s illegal Suspension, Anchored on Reprisal attacks by Kelly Ogbaloi’s led SWC against NWC of the Labour Party for their Dissolution — Hon Abdurahim Chindo.

Hon Abdurrahim Imam Chindo, Sokoto State Labour Party Chairman and the National Deputy Youth leader of the Labour Party in an exclusive interview with Trustbase News’ described the leadership controversy in the Labour Party as a precipitations of shock to some groups of people who never thought that Labour Party would be so successful in the last election under the leadership of Bar Julius Abure as the National Chairman. These categories of people falls within some old members of the Labour Party who abandoned the party, these include some of the former National Chairmen before the success Stories , those who came into the party to destroy the party and those who were sponsored to destabilised the party, not even excluding the Apapa issues and the NLC political commission issues too.

Chindo, who described the actions of the NLC as laughable having been a pressure group and not a political party yet wants to take the place of a political party due to the same recent success stories of our great party. Even if they were involved in the registration process of the Party , that didn’t get them to the status of a political party he said.

The Deputy National Youth leader attributes the constitution of a transition Committee by the political commission of the NLC as a nullity and a misplaced priority of the Labour Congress.

In his words: ” If they can do that, they can as well constitute a transition Committee for the APC and PDP respectively, they lack legal backing, the Labour Party constitution didn’t recognise them, not even to allow them to do anything as such. They are all acting Drama’s “.

On the purported suspension of  Bar Julius Abure by the former Edo State Working Committee of the Party led by Kelly Ogbaloi. Hon Chindo says the  Labour Party as a Party with a working Constitution, such things can’t happen as several attempts of such has been made against the National Chairman, where people also acted the scripts of their pay masters to illegally remove Abure through purported suspension from his ward. Yet none has worked.

Hon Chindo who was full of surprises with the action of Kelly Ogbaloi, the former Edo state chairman of the Labour Party, as he recently  exhibited lack of his knowledge of the party constitution by indulging in such an illegal actions in reading the purported illegal Suspension of Bar Abure.
He also underscores the effect of the submission of a letter of suspension by the dissolved Edo State working Committee led by same Kelly Ogbaloi to the INEC describing INEC legal department as working with facts and not propaganda, hear say or drama.

In his reaction to the Viral video by the ward 3 chairman in Arue- Uromi in Esan North- East LGA, Thompson Ehiguese denial of the letter of suspension from his ward against Bar Abure , the Deputy National Youth leader described the action of the Kelly Ogbaloi led leadership as an impersonation against the ward and against the entire Edo State Labour Party. He also acknowledged the sources of the letter for suspension of the National Chairman of the Party from the dissolved Edo State Labour Party leadership was as a reprisal attack on the dissolution of the State Working Committee by the NWC.

” The tenure of Kelly Ogbaloi led executive committee had expired and they did what they did because of their dissolution by the NWC , meanwhile all these were done as former SWC which also legally has no grounds. The letter reads by Ogbaloi wasn’t read on the capacity as the State Chairman having been dissolved and also evidences of being paid to illegally suspend Julius Abure also made their actions nullity”.

Hon Chindo assured that the recent leadership changes in Edo State Labour Party led by Hon Elizabeth Activie is a realistic platform for the forth coming gubernatorial elections victory  of the Labour Party in Edo State.
