The leadership of the redemption parish Umuahia of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria visits Abia Labour Party Chairman .
The leadership of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Redemption Parish Umuahia, pays a courtesy visit to the Abia State Labour Party Chairman, Hon Ceekay Igara on Monday 24, October, 2023 at the State Party Secretariat, Umuahia Abia State.
The Church presented a gift of the “HOLY BIBLE” to the State Party Chairman as a mantle.
The Speaker, of the delegation, Rev. Ben Nze who also was the Abia State Labour Party Chairman’s Class mate.
In his speech, Rev Ben Nze congratulated, The Executive Governor of Abia State, His Excellency Dr Alex Otti OFR, The State Labour Party Chairman, Hon Ceekay Igara and Indeed the Labour Party at large, for their overwhelming victory both at the polls and at the Electoral tribunals.
He appreciated the amiable Governor of the State, His Excellency Dr Alex Otti for standing firm in the fulfillment of his campaign promises to Abians. ” It is evident, there’s a fresh air in Abia State just few months in office of the Labour Party administration, Abians are happy because the real change has come to stay in our dear State”.the speaker said.
He also commended the Pragmatic State Party Chairman, Hon Ceekay Igara whom he eulogized for his excellent leadership qualities and also described as the master strategist in the rescue mission of our dear State . The Clergyman maintained that Abians are happy now.
The Church assured, the New Abia under the leadership of the Labour Party and Dr Alex Otti of their prayers, and supports.
In response, Hon Ceekay Igara, appreciated their visit and their trust on the Administration of His Excellency Dr Alex Otti and the Labour party.
He assured them that the Governor, Dr Alex Otti will deliver to Abians as he Promised. As what is happening in terms of infrastructural developments in the State is just the beginning as more are expected.
Igara reassured the Church that, His Excellency Dr Alex Otti is well prepared to deliver on his promises to Abians as Abians will not regret voting for the Labour Party.
