Club World Cup 2025: Results from Day 1
The opening day of the Club World Cup has come and gone.
Inter Miami and Al Ahly played out a goalless draw in the early kick-off.
However, there were plenty of goals in the other two matches played on Sunday.
Bayern Munich demolished Auckland City 10-0 in what is now the biggest victory in the competition’s history.
Jamal Musiala netted a hat-trick, while Kingsley Coman and Thomas Müller both bagged braces as the Bundesliga Champions ran riot.
In the final match of the day, Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain thrashed Atlético Madrid 4-0.
Midfielders Vitinha and Fabián Ruiz opened the scoring in the first half, before further goals from Senny Mayulu and Lee Kang-In sealed an emphatic win.
