MTN Shuts Offices Nationwide After SIM-NIN Outrage | Read Details
Telecom giant, MTN, has closed it’s offices nationwide following outrage by their customers whose lines were barred.
Most of MTN offices were attacked by angry customers whose lines were disconnected over NIN-SIM linkage on Monday.
MTN wrote via it’s X handle;
“Yello customer, please be informed that our shops nationwide will be closed today, 30th July 2024.”
MTN, however, directed its customers to use their “digital channels” for support.
Recall that Trustbase News reported that the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, ordered service providers to reactivate blocked lines on Monday and asked subscribers to link their lines.
