ANAMBRA POLL: Ceekay Igara advocates for mass voting, upholding principles of democracy | READ DETAILS
Ahead of the November 8, 2025 election in Anambra State, the National Vice Chairman of the Labour Party, South East, Mr. Ceekay Igara, has harped on the need for upholding the principles of true democracy, shifting from the old style.
Igara in a message he titled; “Ndi Anambra, Make Your Voices Heard Come November 8th” pointed that the electorates have the willpower to decide the future of Anambra state, which according to him, is not on the right spot on the world map.
He added that for the reason of electing qualified, capable and visionary leaders to govern states, Laboour party was created and has such candidates.
The chieftain urged the electorates to go to their various polling units and elect good leaders who can make Anambra the true light of the nation come November 8.
The message read;
As bonafide people of Anambra state, you have the power to shape the future of your state. One of the most significant ways to exercise this power is by voting in the November 8, 2025 governorship election. By casting our ballots, we’re not just choosing leaders – we’re determining the direction of our dear state which is currently not in the right spot on the world map.
This is one, out of the many reasons for the existence of our great party, LABOUR PARTY. Labour party has the right candidate, the right ideas and vision to refurbish Anambra and make it to truly be the “Light of the Nation”.
Ndi Anambra, every vote counts, and every voice deserves to be heard. By participating in this election, you will be contributing to a collective decision that will impact our state, various community, our economy, and our daily lives.
Don’t let others decide for you – take control of your own destiny. Come out en masse and exercise your franchise by voting. Voting is a fundamental right, and by exercising it, you’ll be upholding the principles of democracy.
