The member representing Isuikwuato state constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Lucky Udoka Nweke Johnson, has dumped the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
A resignation letter addressed to the speaker of the Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Ihuoma Emeruwa, dated March 18th, 2025 and sighted by Trustbase News on Tuesday, March 25, revealed that Johnson has moved to the ruling Labour Party.
Johnson said he dumped the PDP because of “the deep division and polarization in the party from national to state levels” and also owing to “the sterling performance of governor Alex Otti in the state”.
