In an online court document sighted by Trustbase News, the leadership crisis rocking the Labour Party has climbed to the highest depths of desperation as another court the Federal High Court Gusau was approached by one Sule Garba an agent of the Nenadi Usman Camp who filled a suit against the Labour Party National Chairman, Bar Julius Abure, the National Secretary, Hon Umar Faruk Ibrahim, INEC and the IGP requesting for an interim induction restraining them from parading as officials of the party and also restraining INEC and the IGP from recognising them. But the Federal High Court refused to grant the ex-parte order.

This mark of desperation to overturn the judgement of the supreme court has been seen by many as an absurdity.

Labour party members have captioned their actions as shopping for a court order to upturn the judgement of the supreme court which legitimised Abure’s NWC and the supremacy of the Labour Party constitution.

“After the Supreme Court’s landmark decision on the Party’s leadership, they have resorted to court-shopping in Zamfara, of all places!
These people are trying to find a needle in a haystack or a mirage in the desert.

Their agent, Sule Garba, filed a suit in Gusau, hoping to secretly secure an order to stop Bar Julius Abure and the National Secretary from leading the party. But, the Federal High Court saw through their ploy and refused to grant the ex-parte order. The judge insisted that all parties, including Abure and INEC, be put on notice.

This latest stunt is a deeper revelation to Otti and Nenadi’s shameless desperation. They’ve been left grasping at straws since the Supreme Court’s decision didn’t favor them. It’s time for them to accept defeat and move on. The Labour Party’s National Publicity Secretary, Obiora Ifoh, aptly described their actions as “uncanny desperation” that will “certainly end in futility.”

When you’re on the wrong path, every step takes you further away from your destination.
Their antics will continue to be a laughingstock”.
