2027: Coalition appoints six Zonal Coordinators

As plans thicken for the 2027 general elections, politicians are making deft moves to ensure the reality Victor at the polls.

One of such significant steps taken is the decision by the Atiku Abubakar led coalition to unveil leaders of the coalition in the six geopolitical zones of the country.

According to sources from the group the Zones and their leaders are as follows:

— North-East: Atiku Abubakar.
– North-Central: David Mark
– North-West: Nasir El-Rufai
– South-South: Rotimi Amaechi
– South-East: Peter Obi
– South-West: Rauf Aregbesola.

The move, sources further point out will strengthen the coalition’s presence across the country and is expected to inadvertently shake up the political landscape in 2027.

While the announcement is currently generating serious discussions among political analysts and stakeholders on the implications of the development, some members are optimistic that the coalition will not succeed.
