Euro Under-21: Two countries qualify for semi-final
At least two countries have qualified for the semi-finals of the ongoing European Under-21 Championship in Slovakia.
This follows the conclusion of Saturday’s Euro U-21 quarter-final fixtures.
The Netherlands and England became the latest countries to advance to the last-4 stage after recording victories against Poland and Spain, respectively.
Netherlands defeated Poland 1-0 on Saturday while England defeated Spain 3-1.
The remaining two teams to join Netherlands and England in the semi-final will be determined on Sunday.
Denmark will take on France on Sunday evening in the semi-final encounter.
Italy will clash with Germany in the other semi-final tie on Sunday night.
The winners of the matches will join both Netherlands and England in the last-4.
