Club World Cup: Real Madrid receive triple injury boost ahead of Juventus clash
Real Madrid could have Kylian Mbappe available for their Club World Cup last-16 clash against Juventus on Tuesday.
Los Blancos manager, Xabi Alonso, has admitted it is a “big possibility” that Mbappe will be fit to play.
The 26-year-old missed all three of Madrid’s group fixtures after being diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis before the tournament kicked off.
“We will talk to him in the morning to make the final decision,” Alonso told reporters.
“It’s a big possibility that he makes his Club World Cup debut tomorrow, though.
“I don’t know how much, but it’s a big possibility.”
Alonso also confirmed the defensive duo of Éder Militão and Dani Carvajal are fit.
Madrid have won two and draw one so far at the tournament.
