In what has been described by social and political commentators as a rare thought provoking outpour of emotion from an usual source, the Senator representing Sokoto South Senatorial District at the National Assembly and for governor of Sokoto State , Waziri Aminu Tambuwal has celebrated the 2023 presidential candidate for the Labour Party, Peter Obi who clocked 64 this Saturday (19/7/25).

In a heartwarming, emotional and thought provoking birthday post, the former speaker of the House of Representatives who is a known ally of Atiku Abubakar described Obi as a politician full of integrity, discipline, and service.

According to him, the firmer Anambra State Governor has taught leaders and the people of Nigeria to choose prudence over populism, compassion over convenience, and conscience over conformity.

Senator Tambuwal further confessed that Obi’s commitment to good governance inspires several individuals across party, religious and ethnic lines.

His letter reads thus:
