NPFL: Former Super Eagles defender appointed Kun Khalifat FC technical director
Former Super Eagles defender Mobi Oparaku has been appointed as the new technical director of Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL side Kun Khalifat FC.
Oparaku’s appointment aligns with the club’s commitment to achieving success in their debut campaign in the NPFL.
The former Olympic gold medallist has been tasked with overseeing the development of coaching staff, implementing cutting-edge training methodologies, and driving the club’s quest for excellence in local and international competitions.
Kun Khalifat FC expressed full confidence in the new technical director’s ability to lead the technical department towards achieving the club’s ambitious goals.
The Owerri-based club will begin their NPFL campaign with a clash against Rangers in Enugu.
The 2025–26 season will commence on Friday, August 22.
