Anchor your faith in God for a successful marriage – Oluebube Chukwu enjoins newlywed

It was a dream come true for Chinweotuto Chukwumerije and Chinedu Okafor, as distinguished Nigerians graced their traditional wedding ceremony held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the residence of Rev. Dr. E.O. Chukwumerije in Uhude Ngodo, Isuochi, Umunneochi Local Government Area of Abia State.

Speaking at the colourful event, the Senior Special Adviser to the Abia State Governor on Due Process, Dr. Oluebube A. Chukwu, charged the couple, to build their marriage on unwavering faith in God.

Dr Chukwu who described marriage as honourable and a special gift from God urged the couple to always seek God in all things, especially in difficult moments.

“Always hope and trust in God you will succeed in your union. In the journey you’ve started today, have faith in God and run to Him first for solutions in any issue that may arise.” the Senior Special Assistant Chukwu advised.

While describing the array of people that attended the event as evidence of conducive atomosphere prevailing in the area, Dr. Chukwu commended the developmental strides of the Governor Alex Otti-led administration and urged all Abians to continue supporting the government’s vision for a New Abia state.

In their remarks, the visibly excited couple, Mr. and Mrs. Chinedu Okafor, expressed gratitude to all who honoured their invitation and thanked them for their love and support while praying for God’s protection all who journeyed to celebrate with them.

The colourful event featured cultural displays, music, entertainment, and a lively atmosphere that reflected the joy and unity of both families.
