NPFL: Wikki Tourists must improve on goal scoring – Maikaba
Wikki Tourists’ technical adviser Abdullahi Maikaba has admitted the need for his players to improve their finishing.
Maikaba made the point after his side’s failure to convert several chances in their 1-0 defeat to Katsina United in a matchday five fixture at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium, Katsina, on Monday.
The veteran tactician assured that the issue would be addressed before their week six clash against Rangers.
“We created chances enough to win the game but couldn’t convert, it’s something we have to address immediately before our next game,” Maikaba stated in a post-match interview.
It would be recalled that the Bauchi Elephants have failed to score in their last two matches.
Wikki Tourists currently occupy ninth place on the NPFL table with seven points from five games.
