Bundesliga: Werder Bremen manager Horst Steffen opens up on Victor Boniface’s attitude
Werder Bremen manager Horst Steffen has spoken out about striker Victor Boniface’s attitude at the club.
Recall that Boniface joined Werder Bremen on a season-long loan from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer transfer window.
The Nigeria international provided an assist in his first game for Bremen against Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Speaking ahead of Bremen’s Bundesliga clash with Bayern Munich on Friday night, Steffen described Boniface as very personable and approachable.
According to him, the striker has quickly settled into life at the club.
“I have come to know him as a very likable person; he is very personable, approachable, and dedicated to the team,” Steffen told the Süddeutsche Zeitung.
“We laugh a lot together; I think it is nice when a player has such a sense of humor and shows such joy.
“He fits right into our group. I don’t know what others say or how it was elsewhere.”
