Nkwebi Autonomous Development Union Mourns Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai.
The people of Nkwebi Autonomous Community in Ohafia LGA joins millions of Christian faithfuls globally to mourn the demise of a Christian leader, an international preacher and an illustrious son of Ohafia, Evangelist, Rev. Dr Uma Ukpai, who died on October 6, 2025, at the age of 80.
In a statement released by the Community Development Union President General, Hon Ceekay Igara on Monday, 13th October and made available to Trustbase News, the Community described the late preacher as a great man of God whose death has caused a great loss to the entire Ohafia nation and the global Christian community.
Born in Asaga Ohafia. Uma Ukpai a Christian leader, an international evangelist, and preacher from Nigeria. He was the founder and president of Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, a non-denominational gospel ministry based in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. His Preaching and Evangelical calling was over 6 decades.
“A selfless servant of God who has passion and love for his community “Ohafia”. He will be greatly missed by his yearly Ohafia Community deliverance outreach ” The Greater Ohafia for Christ Crusade” which is dedicated only for Ohafia Communities”.
The Nkwebi Community also extended a heartfelt condolences to the Family, the Ohafia Community and the entire Christian community in Nigeria and beyond.
