It’s harvest time – Presidency welcomes Gov Mbah to APC
The Presidency has reacted to the defection of Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Communications, Sunday Dare, who welcomed Mbah into the APC, said it’s the “way to go”.
Posting on X, he wrote: “Welcome to the home of the Progressives. Way to Go. President Tinubu stayed and built the Party, now it’s harvest time. Let’s Renew the Hope of Nigerians.”
Mbah, who officially joined the APC, said he left the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, because his people’s voice was not recognized in the party.
Mbah disclosed this during a broadcast to the Enugu people.
The governor left the PDP alongside his immediate predecessor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, state and federal lawmakers, among others.
