NPFL: Ahmed Musa returns to training ahead Kano Pillars vs Niger Tornadoes
Kano Pillars captain,Ahmed Musa has returned to training ahead of the club’s Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday 10 encounter with Niger Tornadoes.
Musa missed the Sai Masu Gida’s last two fixtures against Shooting Stars and Barau FC due to injury.
The veteran forward was pictured in training with his teammates on Friday.
Musa’s return is expected to be a major boost for the newly appointed technical adviser, Muhammed Babaganaru who is on a rescue mission at the club.
Kano Pillars will lock horns with Niger Tornadoes at their temporary home ground in Katsina on Saturday.
It would be recalled that Kano Pillars edged out Niger Tornadoes 2-1 in the same fixture last season.
Rashid Alhassan and Musa were on the score sheet for Kano Pillars, while Mohammed Aliyu netted for Niger Tornadoes.
