NPFL: Amapakabo laments Abia Warriors’ poor finishing
Abia Warriors Technical Adviser Imama Amapakabo has expressed concern over his team’s inability to convert scoring chances in matches.
Amapakabo also noted that his side must improve their performances in away fixtures.
The Umuahia-based club have scored nine goals so far in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, this season and have managed just one win away from home.
“My challenge is that we’re not converting as much as we’re creating,” Amapakabo told Complete Sports.
“We also need to do better on the road, but getting this result keeps us in the chasing pack. We’ll continue working.”
Abia Warriors will face Niger Tornadoes in a matchday 11 fixture in Minna this weekend.
