UCL: UEFA unveils players with most hat-tricks in competition
UEFA has published a list of players with the most hat-tricks in Champions League history.
This comes after Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen netted a hat-trick against Ajax in the Champions League on Wednesday.
According to UEFA, 114 players have scored Champions League hat-tricks, with Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah making it a century on Matchday 4 of the 2022/23 competition.
Osimhen was the latest to join the club on Matchday 4 in 2025/26.
However, here is the list of players that has scored the most Champions League hat-tricks:
8 – Lionel Messi (Barcelona) and Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid 7, Juventus 1)
6 – Robert Lewandowski (Dortmund 1, Bayern 4, Barcelona 1)
4 – Karim Benzema (Real Madrid) and Kylian Mbappé (Paris 2, Real Madrid 2)
3 – Filippo Inzaghi (Juventus 2, AC Milan 1), Mario Gomez (Bayern), Luiz Adriano (Shakhtar) and Neymar (Barcelona 1, Paris 2).
