NPFL: Remo Stars unlucky in defeat to Nasarawa United – Folarin
Remo Stars assistant coach, Sulaiman Folarin, believes that Nasarawa United were lucky in their rescheduled Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday 10 encounter.
The Sky Blue Stars suffered a 2-1 defeat to their hosts in the game.
Folarin admitted that the match was difficult but commended his players for their display.
He insisted that their target still remains to defend the league title.
“It’s a difficult day for us here, but it wasn’t a bad game altogether because both sides did their best. However, mother luck fell on Nasarawa United, and they grabbed the three points,” Folarin stated after the game.
“We lost many goal-scoring chances in the game, but we will return to our base to correct those grey areas.
“Our target remains to defend the league title.”
