Trump threats: Remain calm, Tinubu will protect Nigeria’s interests – FG tells citizens
The Federal Government has appealed to Nigerians to remain calm following the recent diplomatic tension between Nigeria and the United States.
This was contained in a statement issued on Monday by Rabiu Ibrahim, Special Assistant (Media) to the Minister of Information and National Orientation.
According to the statement, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, made the appeal on Monday in Dutse, Jigawa State, during a courtesy visit to the state governor, Malam Umar A. Namadi.
Idris assured citizens that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has the capacity and experience to protect Nigeria’s interests and resolve any issues affecting the country’s international relations.
According to him, “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has all it takes to secure Nigeria from destabilizing elements, as well as mend any cracks in our nation’s relationship with our international friends and partners. Nigerians should please remain calm.”
The Minister is in Jigawa State to attend the North West 2025 Youth Pally and the Presentation of the Achievements of President Tinubu after Two Years in Office.
