PDP not dead despite crisis – Anyanwu
Expelled National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, has said that despite the crisis engulfing the PDP, the party is not dead.
Anyanwu made this statement on Monday while responding to questions in an interview on ‘Politics Today’, a programme on TRUST BASE NEWS monitored by DAILY POST.
He expressed hope that the PDP would navigate its stormy waters and return to being a preferred party.
“PDP is not dead, and PDP cannot die. Even if somebody is in an intensive care unit, the person can still recover,” he said.
The ex-PDP governorship candidate in Imo State also defended his relationship with FCT Minister Nyesom Wike despite criticism.
“When Wike, Makinde, Ugwuanyi, Ikpeazu and Ortom were doing G5, I was not part of it. Yet Wike is my very good friend.
“When the PDP was in ruins, it was Wike who resurrected the party,” he said.
