Thiago Silva has arrived in Porto to officially begin his new chapter as an FC Porto player, with the club completing his signing after weeks of negotiations.

The experienced defender finalised his move earlier, with Porto understood to have been his preferred destination throughout discussions. Sources familiar with the deal say Silva made the Portuguese giants his priority before completing the switch.

The transfer was concluded by Gol International, led by renowned agent Pini Zahavi alongside Paulo Tonietto, who represented the player during negotiations.

Silva’s arrival is expected to bolster FC Porto’s defensive options as the club looks to strengthen its squad for domestic and European ambitions in the months ahead.
