A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Emmanuel Ogidi, has said that Nigeria is in a very sorry situation under the All Progressives Congress, APC-led Federal Government.
Ogidi said this on Monday while fielding questions on Arise Television, monitored by DAILY POST.
He lamented that Nigerians are frustrated, adding that it is hard to be a Nigerian today.
The PDP stalwart expressed optimism that his party will recover and defeat the APC in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.
Ogidi also slammed the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, for calling a meeting of all political parties without inviting the PDP.
“The APC has failed Nigerians. The country is in a very sorry situation. We are resilient in the PDP, and by the grace of God, we will recover and defeat them in 2027.
“INEC called a meeting of all political parties and we were not there. They said they extended the invitation but we never got any invitation.
“These other political parties were there. How did they get the invitation? So, they have compromised. And it’s a dangerous thing that the umpire of an election is taking sides,” he said.
