Lere Olayinka, a media aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Nyesom Wike,  has slammed social media critic, Martins Vincent Otse, widely called Verydarkman, VDM for linking Rivers State All Progressives Congress, APC candidate, Kingsley Chinda, to alleged land grabbing in Abuja.

In a video clip shared on his official Facebook page on Friday, VDM recalled footage he earlier posted on social media pages in December 11, 2024.

In the video, the self-acclaimed online police accused Wike of forcefully collecting an estate in the Life Camp area of the FCT and allocating same to his kinsmen, including Chinda.

“Wike woke up one morning and said he had revoked it. One of those who has a big share in the whole of this thing is the Minority Leader in the House of Representatives in the name of Kingsley Chinda,” he said in the old video.

Reacting to Chinda’s emergence as the candidate of the APC for the 2027 Rivers State gubernatorial election, VDM said, “This same Chinda? Rivers State is finished”.

However, in a swift reaction, Lere slammed the social media critic, describing him as a “very dull man”.

In a post on Facebook, Lere alleged that VDM was everywhere then, “advertising his ignorance after he must have collected money” from the supposed owner of the property.

He said VDM and his alleged instigator “became silent when we brought out facts that the said land was never allocated” to the claimant.

“Instead of Very Dull Man to apologise for misleading the public, he simply went dumb, moved on to other issues and continued with his game”, Lere added.
