Appeal Court Affirmed Two Labour Party Federal House Members, Hon Amobi Ogah and Hon Obi Aguocha.

The Court of Appeal has upheld the election victories of Hon Amobi Ogah, of the Labour Party, who represents the Isiukwuato/ Umunneochi Federal Constituency.

This Judgement came after the Abia State Election Tribunal sacked him and  upheld the victory of Hon Nkiru Onyejeocha recently.

Dissatisfied by the tribunal Judgement, Hon Ameobi Appeal the Judgement at the Appeal Court.

The Court of Appeal today Affirmed his Election victory as the duly Elected, to Represent the people of Isiukwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, nullifying the Tribunal’s earlier verdict sacking him.

Meanwhile,  the Appeal Court also upheld the election victory of Hon. Obi Aguocha of the Labour Party, Representing the Ikwuano/ Umuahia Federal Constituency against  the Appeal of Hon. Chinedum orji of the PDP.

The Abia State Election tribunal recently dismissed the petition of Hon Chinedum Orji, the former speaker of Abia State House of Assembly for lacking in merits.

Hon Orji not satisfied with the  Judgement of the Tribunal Appealed at the Court of Appeal.

Today marks the end of the Legal struggle as the Appeal Court is the highest Court of the land for the National Assembly Elections Petitions.
